if that indeed was the case, and that the co2 that we emit with our vehicles indeed kept the world alive, then two centuries ago when we didn’t emit carbon, theoretically (in your situation) there would not be enough co2 in the air to keep things in working order.
That scenario is utterly laughable. Are you serious? I’m inclined to call Poe’s Law out on you.
Btw, I do not drive a Prius. I bike. Exclusively. Much better than your stupid 20 mpg usage.

are you completely forgetting that you exhale co2? are you forgetting that there is co2 in soda? are you forgetting that trees use co2 to produce oxygen? so if we stop producing co2, then trees stop producing oxygen. so yes i can deny that co2 emissions are a bad thing. they are a great thing in moderation. oh and flawlessncp is totally right. the batteries in priuses cant be recycled. so your killing more things with your nickel cadmium batteries than i am with my 20mpg gas usage

You can continue living in your happy place. I’m perfectly fine with that. Its not you that’s going to have to face the consequences of global warming anyway. But my point is: No shit global warming isn’t caused completely by man. But god dammit, you CANNOT deny that CO2 emissions are a bad thing. If it doesn’t cause global warming, then it causes respiration problems and smog and accounts for quite a large number of deaths in urban populations.
