World’s Fastest Hybrid Car

by admin on January 28, 2012

0-62 in 5.5 s & a limited top speed of 155 mph. The same you get from a C63 AMG Mercedes with it's factory applied limiter on it too. The Infiniti M35H will be powered by a hybrid drive system that combines a naturally-aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine with a 68 HP electric motor mated to a 7-speed Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) automatic transmission. yea this car had 480 torque more? than the 09 GTR

Electric Motors tend to have more torque, and leave gas engines by the way side… although in these early days of transition from gas to electric… the car industry tend to utilize the smallest electric motors to weight ratio of car…robust electrical motors would outpace the fastest (Formula 1 racer)…… since? fuel cars are only 20% efficient while electric motors are 90% efficient by comparison.

im pretty sure the c63 is faster than 5.5 seconds 0-60 and a top speed of 155 is good but just because its a hybrid doesnt mean its incredible..if it has a powerful enough engine to start off? with a battery pack i dont think helps with top speed

the 918? spyder is probably a little bit faster than this, maybe just a smidge…. making it the fastest hybrid, not this yacht.
